As most of you know, there are 6 members in Maroon 5: Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael, Mickey Madden, James Valentine (the new member), Matt Flynn, and last but not least P.J Morton. All these characters are very friendly and awesome, but they're so much more. Let me break it down to each character for you.
Adam Noah Levine, the lead vocalist and guitar player, was born and raised in Los Angeles california. He started his music carreer in 1994. Before Maroon 5 had started Adam Levin was in a band with the same members, without James Valentine, called Kara's flowers, until that band broke up in 1997 and reformed in 2001, adding a new member, James Valentine, and changing the name to what we now know as Maroon 5.
Jesse Carmichael, kaeyboardist, rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist, was born in Boulder, Colorado, United States. He first started playing the guitar in junior high, and then he played the keyboards in a band called Kara's flowers and signed a recording contract with Reprise Records. Then, in 1997 they released their only item, called The Fourth World. Then two years later, Levine and Carimichel dropped out and headed back to California, and eventually all the members of Kara's flowers including a guitarist named James Valentine, made our well known band named Maroon 5.
Micky Madden, an American musician known for being the bass player in Maroon 5, was born in Austin Texas. He started playing in his junior highschool, Brentwood School. He'd play in garages along with some of his friends, Jesse Carmichael, and Adam Levine. He was also a member of the Kara's Flower band, later becoming a member of the Maroon 5 band.
James Valentine, lead guitarist for the pop band Maroon 5, was born in Lincoln, Nebraska and raised as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He has 4 siblings, 3 sisters and a brother. He moved to Los Angeles from Anaheim California, where he would teach private guitar lessons in his home and he eventually became friends with the Kara's Flower members: Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael, Mickey Madden, Matt Flynn, and P.J Morton. Then shortly afterwards, he joined the band of Kara's Flower later becoming known as Maroon 5. He became the new member of the band.
Matt Flynn, drummer for the pop band, Maroon 5, was born in Woodstock, New York,and around age of 14 is when he first started playing the drums. The first thing he'd play was the beat to "Jump" by Van Halen, which had really impressed his father. Later that year he played in his High School Talent show getting 3rd place in his high school. Flynn has been playing with drums of many different brands. Currently he has been playing with the Sugar percussion since the year 2015.
P.J Morton, American songwriter, musician and record producer, was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. He also graduated from St. Augustine High School. He is now married to Kotni Morton.
All these members make Maroon whole.
